Purpose of the Job
• The Telesales clerk is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service by regularly communicating with clients, processing customer orders, generating order lead times and assisting the sales representatives to ensure superior customer service.

• Calling on new and existing clients to follow up on new and current orders.
• Providing excellent client service through clear and constant communication.
• Managing and building relationships with existing clients.
• Processing of orders.
• Ensuring all order and deliveries on running smoothly.
• Assisting Sales Representatives(s) where required.
• Following up and generating of lead times.
• General office administration.
• Assist with adhoc duties as per business requirements.
Qualifications
• Tertiary education: Matric
• Previous Experience:
- At least one year of experience in a similar role.
• Experience.
- At least one year of experience in a call center setting.
- At least 1 year of experience in a sales role.
- Previous experience working in a food service setting is preferred.
• Knowledge and skills.
• Communication (spoken and written)
• Understanding of retail and food services.
• Interpersonal Skills
• Basic understanding of Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, etc.).
