The Youth Employment Service is a business-led program in partnership with the labor and government departments that creates job opportunities for young people in an effort to lower unemployment.
Participants in the program get exposure to different areas of the retail industry during their 12-month on-the-job training. Successful YES learners are equipped with the skills necessary to launch their own retail venture or work in retail after completion.
WHO CAN APPLY?
South African youth between 18 and 34 years.
REQUIREMENTS
A South African Matric or equivalent qualification
A qualification from the Retail Readiness Programme (RRP)
