QUALIFICATIONS:
- Grade 12 or its equivalent certification in welding
- Red Seal 5 years+ Experience in the welding and mining industries is a plus.
- Certified Medically Fit for Duty

- Arc Welding
- MIG Welding
- Tick Weiding
- Earthmoving Machine - Repairs-buckets, teeth
- Project Experience
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- The primary role is to support the
maintenance crew in the restoration and
upkeep of transportable machinery by
executing fabrication to a high standard.

department.
- Perform a high standard of fabrication and
welding execution, all work completed in a
safe and timely manner.
- Ensure workmanship through meeting
standards, tolerances and testing of
equipment prior to handover.
- Identify correct parts and equipment for all
planned and unplanned jobs as necessary.
- Continuously review scheduled jobs to
identify opportunities for improvement.
- Highlight equipment defects and issues
effectively utilising the maintenance
management process.
- Rigorous cost management - avoid rework
as well as the needless use of parts and
services.
